VIETNAM

Vietnam, located in the heart of SE Asia, turned out to be WAY more interesting than I ever imagined it would be. Who knew we would discover stunning landscapes, really really amazing food, gorgeous pagodas, intricate white marble statues, beautiful birds and vibrant cities?

Our time was spent in four different areas: Da Nang and Hoi An, the Ninh Binh region, Ha Long Bay, and the capital city of Hanoi.

Each area we explored brought different and unique experiences. We ate new foods we’d never eaten before and saw so many amazing things that we didn’t expect.

Plus, Vietnam is the most affordable place that Bill and I have encountered so far in all our travels around the world.

Our lodging was $24-$35 USD a day (including breakfast) and our food/liquor/beverage was under $24/day. If you just count food, it was under $10 most days.

This yummy meal was under $4!

If Vietnam is on your Bucket List, then come along as we share our experiences, our recommendations and our tips for making the most of your trip. Keep checking back as we will be adding more content about Vietnam in the coming months. Learn more about this amazing country!
