Hello – My name is Kari and ever since I was young, I have loved to travel. First with my parents, and then with my kids (who have been to 49 states).

I am an expert in researching and finding ways to have great travel experiences on a very limited budget. It’s a challenge to keep so many people happy, but I learned many tips and tricks to make it happen.

A New Chapter

When Bill and I met in 2017, our mutual love of travel bonded us together immediately. During our first 5 years together, we planned and took over 25 trips across the US and Canada!

Once Covid ended, we were ready to get exploring internationally and start checking items off our Travel Bucket List. And after a near-death experience, we knew we couldn’t keep putting it off.

So I quit my job in 2023 and we set out to travel the world full-time, staying for many weeks and months in places all over Europe, Australia and New Zealand, SE Asia and Africa. What an absolutely amazing experience!

And even now, we continue to travel for four to six months of the year and find new places to explore in depth.

I created this travel blog specifically to help others find a way to Achieve their Bucket List Goals too, before it’s too late!

At Home

When we’re not traveling, we split our time between Minnesota in the summer, and Southwest Florida in the winter. And if I’m not busy writing new blog posts, my favorite hobbies include photography, bird-watching, snorkeling, jet-skiing, hiking, and yes, even travel planning. I’m always researching our next stop!
