The Cathedral in Florence is a magnificent piece of architecture, build of pink, green and white marble.

ITALY

Italy is the land of gorgeous cathedrals, historic villages, cobblestones, statues, hand-made leather items, fresh olive oil and even fresher wine. Oh, and can’t forget the incredible pasta too!

In our travels around the world, Bill and I have explored Italy from top to bottom, spending time in Cinque Terre, Tuscany, Rome, the Amalfi Coast and the beautiful Island of Sicily.

The cobblestone streets and stone walls are one of my favorite things about staying in San Donato, Italy.
Vineyards and rolling hills of olive trees are found all over Italy, especially in the region known as Tuscany.

Italy is a large boot-shaped peninsula, shaped by mountain ranges and surrounded by the Adriatic, the Tyrrhenian and the Mediterranean Seas. It offers both urban experiences such as Rome and the Vatican, costal experiences such as Sorrento and Cinque Terre and peaceful villages in the olives groves of Tuscany.

All over Rome, statues made of marble from Italy reflect artists creativity.
